Welcome to Easy Rides. By using our services (via WhatsApp, mobile apps, or other platforms), you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Definitions

• “Easy Rides” / “We” / “Us” – Refers to Easy Rides Africa (Pty) Ltd.
• “Passenger” / “Rider” – A person booking or reserving a ride.
• “Driver” / “Partner” – A verified vehicle owner or driver using our platform to provide rides.
• “Platform” – Includes WhatsApp API, Easy Rides website, and future mobile applications.

2. Service Scope

Easy Rides provides a digital platform that connects riders with independent drivers for long-distance, interprovincial travel. Easy Rides is not a transport operator, but a facilitator between riders and drivers.

3. Booking & Payment

• All bookings must be made in advance through our platform.
• Fares are calculated based on distance, time, and type of ride (shared or private).
• Easy Rides charges a service fee/commission per ride.
• Payment methods include EFT, instant EFT, card payments, and future in-app payments.

4. Cancellations

• Riders may cancel before departure (see Refund & Cancellation Policy).
• Drivers may cancel only under justifiable circumstances (breakdown, emergency).

5. Rider Responsibilities

• Provide accurate pickup and drop-off details.
• Arrive on time for departure.
• Respect drivers, vehicles, and co-passengers.

6. Driver Responsibilities

• Maintain valid licenses, PRDP permits, and vehicle compliance.
• Ensure vehicles are roadworthy and insured.
• Provide safe, professional service.

7. Liability

Easy Rides is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or losses caused by traffic, accidents, or circumstances beyond control. Insurance and liability rest with the driver/vehicle owner.

8. Modifications

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of changes.
